Aloha GC

Aloha Golf Club in Nueva Andalucia on the Costa d’el Sol opened for play in 1975, and before Valderama, Finca Cortesin, Sotogrande, and La Reserva all emerged as excellent courses, Aloha, along with neighbouring Las Brisas, was the place to be.

Ambitious Goswick

Like many of England’s golf clubs, Goswick in Northumberland has benefitted from the COVID-fueled surge in interest in golf over the past two years. But while many of those same clubs have chosen to rest on their laurels, Goswick is instead reinvesting its increased revenue in a wide array of initiatives it believes will deliver an exceptional experience to its members and visitors while better supporting and developing the staff who serve them.

Every now and then GTE gets the opportunity to visit a new golf course, resort or development, and it is always an interesting and educational experience hearing about the vision and the strategy to attract visitors or members.

On a recent visit to Scotland, the recent emergence of Dunbarnie as an excellent new addition to the region seemed to be a conversation many were discussing, as the new golf season rolls in.
