Congratulations must go to Visit Wales and Reed Exhibitions for managing to stage the postponed International Golf Travel Market at the International Convention Centre, Celtic Manor very successfully this week. Whilst numbers were inevitably down on previous years, the Exhibitors who did attend had very productive meetings with tour operators from mainly Europe and the UK.
What certainly shone through was a strong desire to see International travel return, and the event was a great boost for the morale of many who have experienced difficult times through the Covid period. It was also rewarding to see so many friends and colleagues after such a long time and the value of events such as IGTM has never been more apparent.
The event was made extra special by the very warm welcome received by Wales, and despite some rain, most delegates got to experience some high quality golf during the trip as well.
