Hadley Wood Golf Club, whilst only 30 minutes by train from the centre of London, is set in 265 acres of mature wooded parkland with three lakes, numerous ditches, and splendid views.
Opened for play in 1922 and designed by Dr Alister MacKenzie, Hadley Wood has trademark touches such as raised greens, some with two tiers, guarded by strategic bunkers, that are hallmarks of this great architects work.
The course has four par-fives and four par-threes requiring a full range of shots to score well, and is rightly considered as one of England’s Top 100 courses.
