Situated just over 6 miles north of Liverpool City Centre, Blundellsands based, West Lancashire Golf Club is a classic links layout that proudly hosts R&A and England Golf competitions, as well as being featured in the Top 100 Golf Courses in Great Britain.
Founded in 1873, this championship links is among the ten oldest clubs in England offering spectacular views from the course overlooking the Mersey Estuary and towards the Welsh Hills. The links are situated on the largest dune complex in England with abundant wild life and flora thriving on the dunes and sandy terrain.
The course is a challenge in itself and will keep you on your toes from start to finish. As Donald Steel wrote: “Only in Britain can one savour the true flavour of seaside golf, of which West Lancashire is a perfect example”.
